| To the freshman ladies-
I'm REALLY sorry to say this again, but I don't think we'll be able to have our sleepover this weekend because:
a) we can't find a place to house all of us (there are atleast 20+)
b) if the weather gets bad and school closes, Linda and I may have exams on Saturday
c) everyone's really busy with other stuff at school and such
Linda and I will try to think of an alternate activity that we can do as a class...your feedback is more than welcome!!
To all you college folks taking finals-
GOOD LUCK!! ITS THE END OF THE SEMESTER!! BREAK IS SO CLOSE...HANG IN THERE!!

| - Ruby Blue time for my monthly update:
THANKSGIVING weekend was tres excellent. Our pre-Thanksgiving luncheon on Wednesday was a success. Thanks to our excellent cook-ess Laura and thanks to all the guys for adhering to the dress code!! It was really fun and delicious. The rest of the weekend was fun and strange...I can't put my finger on it, but it was just strange. I ate A LOT of food and gained a gazillion pounds...but it was ALL worth it!!
...but I got no work done, so now its crunch time. I've got exams and quizzes everywhere and I just want to go home!! Amidst all that studying, I have to find a job over the winter break and do all my X-mas shopping and prepare for my lovely class of freshman ladies and get a new cell phone. Just a note: never leave your cell phone out in the grass overnight in freezing weather, they will break!!
Winter Break officially begins: TUESDAY, DECEMBER 20, 2005 @ 8:00:00 pm!!!!! WAHOO!!
| - In the Waiting Line spent the weekend at home...it was really great.
I never realized how much I'd missed home. Because of exams, studying, meetings, etc., I hadn't been home in about a month (I used to go home weekly or biweekly). Even though I'm 20 and in college, home is still home... After hanging out with my parents and sister for the weekend, I felt so at peace.
In addition, I'm really excited about working with GMC again. The first few weeks were hard and I didn't really understand my role but after talking to some of the girls and getting some productive bible studies, I feel so encouraged. I'm really excited about my freshman girls and my CIA committee.
I've realized that: yes, there are hardships and you'll always feel like you can't handle them, but somehow, somewhere, God will use different means to encourage you and remind you that everything will be okay. Thanks to my sweet roommates and friends who just listened to me and made me realize my penchant for dramatics and irrational thinking.

Thanks to all my family, pals, roomies, best friends, and scientists/bosses for helping me celebrate...it has seriously been a non-stop, weeklong party!!
